Climate Fresk Workshop

Climate Fresk Workshop

Event Information

Wildfires, floods, heatwaves have barely left the headlines this summer. But how does it link to climate change? As world leaders descend on Glasgow for the global climate change conference get to grips with it all in your local community as part of Climate Action Fife.

This fun, collaborative workshop is based on a 42-card game. Each card represents an element, a cause or a consequence of climate change.

In small groups, guided by your facilitator, you’ll learn about the drivers, mechanisms and consequences of climate change. You’ll link the different components to form a group collage, with collective intelligence getting you from one deck of cards to the next!

“I loved how interactive this was, and what a sense of community it built among participants. It was lively and engaging, with just enough extra info provided to explain the various cards. It’s a really good way of communicating the IPCC report.”

“Felt like the space was very safe and learned a lot about the complexities of climate science”

“The workshop was really well thought out and I thought it was very open to all levels of knowledge.”
