Tayport and Tentsmuir cycle ride
Event Information
Join us on this led ride as part of the Fife Climate Festival. We will lead a ride through Tayport and the surrounding area in partnership with PLANT. This ride encourages people to try cycling as a form of active travel and we will discover some great routes with wonderful views in North East Fife.
Route information
Distance – Medium
Hills – no hills
Surfaces – mainly smooth, good quality surfaces and sections that are uneven, with loose gravel. Your bike will need wider tyres, skinny roads tyres will be inappropriate for this route.
Route – mainly on traffic-free paths, with some quiet roads.
Additional Information
Please note that this bike ride is weather-dependent.
Participants should be able to cycle for 1.5 - 2 hours at a leisurely pace with breaks. Under 16’s must be accompanied by an adult.
Please make sure your bike is roadworthy before coming and wear appropriate clothes for the weather. We will carry out basic bike checks at the start of the ride.
Remember to also bring your own water and snacks.

The event is free but booking is required. You can choose to purchase a ticket with a donation. Donations help us do more work in our community.
Our booking form includes a series of optional anonymous questions. These help us learn more about the people we reach through our events. Any information you choose to share about your background is managed separately to information that you give us to process your booking (for example, your name).
