Swap Shop at Fife College
Event Information
Did you know that 95% of clothes that end up in landfill could have been recycled or re-used? Fife College Swap Shop allows people to donate clothes they no longer want, so these items can be kept in circulation longer and re-used by others. This saves carbon emissions and resources from creating new items, and allows people to find a new outfit for free, in exchange for what they donated!
What will happen at the event?
Please note this is a swapping event, therefore you have to bring clothing items along to donate, if you want to take items away with you.
At this event we will ask that you let us weigh your clothing items before taking them away, so that we can calculate the carbon emissions we have saved from entering the atmosphere.
Come along, and help us make swapping the new norm! This event is open to anyone in the local community.
There will be soft drinks and snacks provided on the day.
