Social media for community groups

Social media for community groups

Event Information

Use social networks to create a buzz

This event is part of a series of five online communication skills workshops organised by Fife Climate Hub and Climate Action Fife.

What will the session cover?

Explore techniques and best practices to harness the power of social media for your group. Learn how to create a social media planner and tailor posts to specific channels and audiences.

Find out how to share posts and join groups, as well as how to tap into wider networks such as Fife Communities Climate Action Network and Climate Action Fife.

This workshop is led by Andrea Harrower, Communications and Events Coordinator for Greener Kirkcaldy. There will be a chance to ask questions at the end.

At the end of the session you will have:

  • A clear understanding of how to plan and implement a social media strategy for your community group

Who is this event for?

These online workshops are open to community groups based in Fife and anyone who wants to create a positive impact on the climate emergency.

Sessions are aimed at beginners. There is plenty of time to ask questions and learn more about each topic.

Workshops are hosted on Zoom. You will be sent a link to join before the session. Please note spaces are limited so booking is required.
