Kate Rawles talk and cycle to EATS Rosyth

Kate Rawles talk and cycle to EATS Rosyth

Event Information

Join us with Kate Rawles as part of our Climate Action Fife Festival in Dunfermline Library and Galleries. Kate will share stories of her adventures on your self-built bamboo bike through South America while focusing on Biodiversity loss and the effects of climate change.

Join Kate and Climate Action Fife for a led ride to EATS Rosyth to celebrate their community garden apple day. This allows you to have more time to chat with Kate and discuss how active travel can help fight the climate emergency. We will spend about an hour at EATS Rosyth.

The cycle will be around 8 miles round trip. We will take as a car-free route as possible using quieter roads and shared paths. All styles of bikes are suitable for this ride. Our pace will be slow and steady. The route to EATS Rosyth will be mostly flat and downhill, however on the way home we need to go gently uphill back to Dunfermline.

There will be an opportunity to purchase Kate's latest book at the talk.
