Event Information
This is a one-day interactive workshop where we'll spend the morning understanding the symbiotic dynamics that make Forest Gardens so much more productive and sustainable than our industrialised gardening and growing methods, including an in-depth look at what makes healthy soil. In the afternoon we'll be learning the key factors to take into consideration when designing, implementing and maintaining your own forest garden, including a tasting tour of the Fruitful Forest Garden near Aberdour.
Throughout the day you're welcome to explore the rest of the site including the Ecological wastewater treatment system, wildlife ponds, compost toilet, market garden, orchard and plant nursery.
