Join us for a vibrant networking event hosted by Methilhill Community Children’s Initiative (MCCI) in partnership with Fife Climate Hub. This event is an opportunity to connect with like-minded individuals and groups working towards sustainable, community-driven change.
MCCI will kick off the day by sharing their story—celebrating successes, lessons learned, and the impact of their work within the community.
The event will then transition to focused table discussions, offering a platform to exchange ideas, challenges, and best practices on:
- Working with Young People: Engaging youth in climate and community initiatives
- Community Kitchens – ‘Seed to Plate’: Building sustainable food systems and fostering community through shared meals.
- Funding Community Gardens: Exploring creative ways to sustain and grow green spaces.
Whether you’re a seasoned community organiser or new to local action, this event is a chance to learn, share, and inspire collective progress.
Where is the event taking place
The event will take place at the Methilhill Children’s Community Initiative (MCCI). The MCCI features well-maintained outdoor spaces, including lush gardens perfect for hands-on activities like planting and harvesting. Its cozy, child-friendly environment includes areas for play and learning, creating a vibrant setting for intergenerational gatherings.
