Explore how to make your Local Place Plan climate-ready

Event Information

How can you influence development plans for your local community? Developing a Local Place Plan (LLP) is an opportunity for local communities to put forward ideas. But how do you make an LLP? Planning Aid Scotland is offering mentoring and training for community councils and groups in rural areas of Fife.

This session explores how to make your Local Place Plan climate-ready. The coming years are critical for ensuring that Scotland moves to a net-zero carbon economy (mitigation) and prepares itself to be resilient to the impacts of our changing climate (adaptation).  Find out more about how to ensure your LPP can consider and achieve these aims for your place.

This series of training sessions is being supported by Climate Action Fife to include information on how climate action can be considered in the context of Local Place Plans.

Support is free and available until Jan 2024. Go to www.pas.org.uk/ruralfife now for more information about training topics and registering for the programme.
