Dunnikier Park Kirkcaldy Community Tree Planting

Dunnikier Park Kirkcaldy Community Tree Planting

Event Information

Fife Coast & Countryside Trust along with Dunnikier Country Park Development Group are running a tree planting day in Dunnikier Park.

All are welcome to take part in some local climate action, planting trees in Dunnikier Park, Kirkcaldy. A mix of young and established trees will be sensitively planted in the park to increase canopy cover, enhance natural beauty, and establish habitat for wildlife.

Trees are essential for people, wildlife, and the environment and are one of the best ways to tackle the climate crisis.

No experience is necessary as we will show all you need to know. Appropriate tools and personal protective equipment will also be provided.

Booking is essential.

There are two sessions: 10am-12pm and 2pm-4pm. Please choose your preference for morning and/or afternoon.

Children are welcome with an accompanying adult. Refreshments will be provided.

If you book places but then can’t attend, please let us know by cancelling your ticket on Eventbrite, or by emailing ask.us@fifecountryside.co.uk or phoning 01592 656080. Nearer the event we will email all participants with details of the meeting place.
