Event Information

Join Us for a Climate Place Workshop!

Have you ever wondered how you can take meaningful climate action in the places where you live, work, and play? We are excited to invite you to an engaging Climate Place Workshop designed to explore the unique relationship between climate and place and uncover opportunities for climate action in Fife, tailored to your local area. This workshop isn’t just about ideas – the insights and actions we discuss will directly contribute to shaping the delivery of Climate Fife Strategy and its BIG Community and Resilience moves. It’s a chance to come together, share thoughts, and spark ideas that could make a real difference.

Here’s what to expect:

  • A bit of climate science to set the scene.
  • Explore what a Climate Ready place could look like for your locality.
  • Identify opportunities for climate action while addressing current barriers.
  • Review Sustainable Development Goals and inspiring examples of actions already underway.
  • Learn about tools to think creatively about climate and place – perfect for sparking future conversations!
  • Find out about further support, from Climate Literacy to community tree planting and beyond.

This workshop will be an inspiring opportunity to connect, learn, and collaborate with others in your community, all while taking steps toward a more climate friendly and resilient future for Fife.

Refreshments and light lunch will be provided.

These workshops delivered in Partnership with Climate Action Fife and Coalfield Regeneration Trust.
