Event Information
Learn how to boost biodiversity in your garden to help resilience to climate change. Our speaker Dr Helena Simmons will talk about Gardening for Biodiversity and Climate Change at 1pm in the Marquee. Wild StoryWeaver, Sarah Wedderburn-Ogilvy will tell stories for age 5+ in the Marquee at 2.30pm. Learn more about biodiversity and gardening at our stalls, including Wonderful Worms, Butterfly Conservation, Akin Oak Tree Project, NatureScot. Tours of our Forest Garden at 12.20 and 2pm. This event is suitable for all ages.
Drinks and lunch will be provided free of charge. Please bring a reusable plate and mug if you can.
This will be an outdoor event with shelter in a marquee and polytunnel. Please wear suitable outdoor clothing for the weather.
This is a drop in event, no booking is required.
Accessibility Information
The terrain is flat and paths are gravel. Disabled access to end of Pond Lane. Wheelchair access to parts of the garden and main polytunnel.
Tayport Community Garden is located at the end of Pond Lane. Please walk or cycle. If you drive, please park on Elizabeth Street and walk up the Lane as car access to the Garden gate is limited.
