Climate Friendly Gardens – fruit tree pruning workshop

Climate Friendly Gardens – fruit tree pruning workshop

Event Information

Join us at EATS Rosyth Centenary Orchard for a workshop with expert tuition from Andrew Lear ‘Appletreeman’ as we learn how to prune fruit trees in winter.

Andrew is a highly experienced fruit tree expert with wide ranging expertise. He puts 40 years of horticultural knowledge into practice by teaching and advising orchard groups and owners throughout Scotland, and propagating heritage varieties of fruit.

This event is suitable for beginners. Hot drinks and snacks will be provided. Please bring a packed lunch.  The event will be mostly outdoors with some shelter in the orchard’s classroom. A sheltered lunch space will also be available.

Please wear suitable outdoor clothing for the weather. You might prefer to bring your own gloves, loppers and secateurs but we will also have some available on the day.
