Climate Action Fife Community Engagement Forum: AI and climate engagement

Climate Action Fife Community Engagement Forum: AI and climate engagement

Event Information

Are you looking for ideas to engage your community on the climate emergency? Or do you have climate engagement experience that you could share with others?

The Climate Action Fife project, of which FCCAN is a partner, run an informal online forum for Fife-based groups to share ideas on what works when talking about the climate emergency. We share ideas and resources to get the climate conversation going and imagine what a climate-friendly Fife would look like.

The forum is open to any community organisations in Fife who want to include climate action and education in their work. Our sessions help community groups in Fife to develop their climate knowledge and enjoy access to resources that help them to do so. This allows groups to deliver their services in a climate-friendly way.

AI and climate engagement

The theme for this meetup is AI and climate engagement: Artificial intelligence tools have the potential to transform society, from the world of work and beyond. Join Rory Syme from Greener Kirkcaldy for a discussion of the opportunities and challenges that tools like ChatGPT pose for climate engagement.

We also want to hear what challenges you face and collectively help, so please feel free to bring along a challenge and we’ll all chat it through and support each other to find solutions. This could be in relation to the specific month’s topic or any other regarding community climate engagement.

Please email us on info@fccan.org.uk to receive the Zoom details for the session and to join the mailing list for future Climate Action Fife Community Engagement Forum meetings.
